Ever so often, we get the incredible opportunity to be a part of the creative process from ground level. Waterloo Church is the perfect example of how we can help brand, build and market your non-profit.
We started this project with creating a logo design that would reflect the cultural and historic approach of Austin, Texas. Our client wanted the logo to represent Austin, since the historic name of the city was Waterloo before being renamed to Austin in 1839. I subtly displayed the letter “A” within the “W” of the design to reinforce that Waterloo is Austin. The addition of the famous star icon inside the letter “A” gave an iconic feel to Austin. To finish this design off, I placed the mark inside a four piece circle for strength, balance and community to the logo.
The branding was just the beginning for this project. Stationery design (Business Cards and Letterhead) was quickly tackled with a clean, approachable feel to them. We then focused our efforts in creating a one page website that would help this church plant launch and gain momentum within the city of Austin. The one page responsive website featured rich icons to describe their vision, plan and how to get involved. To market this church plant we provided creative consulting on social media consistency and also the specific branding of all their social media accounts. We are now in the process of developing their long term website that will be in use after they launch. Overall, this project has been a huge success for Qhue Creative as well as the launch team of Waterloo Church.
